What correction involves
Correction works address unwanted pigment tones (blue, red, purple) and reshape brows left by previous work. The objective is to shift the existing color toward a target shade and to adjust symmetry and outline. Results depend on the current pigment, skin type, and previous procedures; your artist will explain realistic expectations during assessment.
Some corrections can be completed in a single session, but more complex cases commonly require two to three procedures to reach the desired color and shape. Price for this service is $100 and the typical appointment time listed is 150 MINUTES; the number of sessions needed will be determined after review of your photos and in-clinic assessment.
Pre-booking photo requirements
Before you book this service, please text (703) 981 - 5883 with the following information: 1) your name, 2) an up-close photo of your eyebrows, 3) a picture of you with no makeup, 4) a picture of you with makeup, 5) any other brow reference photos you want us to see, and 6) pictures of the ingredient list of all your skin care products. All pictures must be taken under clear natural lighting.
Clear, well-lit photos allow a remote assessment to determine if correction is appropriate and how many sessions might be necessary. I will reach out as soon as I receive your images to discuss next steps, scheduling, and whether an in-person consultation should be part of your first appointment.
Local scheduling considerations
Katy Aesthetics is located in the Ravensworth Grove area of Annandale, convenient to Braddock Road, Little River Turnpike, and the Capital Beltway. Clients who commute or juggle family schedules often plan appointments around peak traffic times; early or late appointments may help reduce travel stress for those coming from nearby areas like Lincolnia, Baileys Crossroads, or West Falls Church.
Correction requests increase in January, September, and October as people seek a fresh start or notice sun-faded work after summer. Northern Virginia’s seasonal weather — humid summers and cool autumns — influences beauty routines, so planning treatments when you can follow aftercare and avoid heavy outdoor activity is practical for best scheduling.
